Our financial services client is seeking a Business System Analyst to join their growing team. As a BSA, you will support a MuleSoft Integration by soliciting, documenting, and refining business requirements to solve business problems and identify improvement opportunities.

Job Title: BSA - MuleSoft Integration

Location: Raleigh, NC preferred (open to NC, VA, SC, TN)

Terms: 6-12 month contract with possibility of C2H

Key Responsibilities

• Business Solution Development – Solicit, document, and refine business requirements, to solve business problems and identify improvement opportunities. Ensuring clear understanding is achieved, while operating with both a strategic and analytical mindset. Analyze and translate requirements into technical solutions. Identify system and organizational impacts, including gaining a strong understanding of client’s backend systems. Engage closely with business stakeholders, Software Engineers and vendors to ensure soundness and viability of technology solutions.

• Project Execution – Work with team members, Technology and QA in a high-paced, matrixed environment throughout the agile project lifecycle to ensure the delivered solution meets the business requirements. Work with the team to quickly mitigate risks and resolve blockers. Partner with Support, Technology and QA resources to develop robust testing and approval criteria.

• Collaboration – Partner with resources across the team on a day-to-day basis. Develop trusted relationships across the organization including Technology and Business stakeholders with an emphasis on fostering teamwork and compromise, while driving to a common goal. Mentor and provide support to junior members of the team.

• Communication – Provides regular initiative updates to stakeholders. Effectively interacts at all levels of the organization with the ability to communicate on both a business and technical level.

Requirements

• 5+ Years IT Business Systems Analysis ( API Integration between applications)

• Systems Analyst experience documenting requirements related to middleware integrations / API Management Software (MuleSoft preferred or similar technologies)

• True BSA – On the IT side (Agile Teams, peers with developers) that can investigate backend systems (such as mainframe) to technically troubleshoot do data verification (SOAP UI)

• As the IT BA, you will support the product team (gathers business requirements, competitive analysis, product design). You take those requirements (User story) to build Technical Requirements / Acceptance criteria. (such as determine database, and which APIs we will use to pull data).

• API / Data mapping

• System Requirements/Systems Diagrams

• Validating / Solutioning the “how” not just verifying the UI/Front end
