Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is currently seeking an experienced Civil Engineer (PE) for our Land group in Raleigh, North Carolina. Candidates should be proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D design as it pertains to site design such as grading, storm water management (SWM), Storm Drain, Erosion & Sediment Control (ESC) Design, and utilities.
Established more than 45 years ago, Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc.'s (MRA's) architects, structural and civil/site engineers, land planners, landscape architects, and surveyors provide planning, design, and construction administration phase services for a wide range of projects throughout the mid-Atlantic and Carolinas. Civil Engineer - RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and management of land development projects
Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop design concepts and plans in the following areas:
site layout, water, sewer mains, roads, soil erosion and sedimentation control plans, floodplain studies and grading plans
Provide assistance to other staff in order to accomplish department goals and objectives
Civil Engineer - REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Experience in Private Land Development preferred
AutoCAD proficiency required; Civil 3D a PLUS!
Ability to work independently as well as in a group
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
Local candidates preferred; visa sponsorship not available
