Pay Rate:

• Local Candidates: $53/hr

• Travelers: $2445/week

  Start Date: January 20, 2025

  Contract Length: 13 weeks

  Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a correctional facility in Elizabeth City, NC. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to inmates, ensuring their health and well-being. This position requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a challenging environment, and a commitment to patient care.

  Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Monitor and assess the health status of inmates.

• Provide emergency care as needed.

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Educate inmates on health-related issues and promote healthy lifestyles.

  Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a correctional or similar setting.

• Strong clinical and assessment skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• CPR certification.
