Please review the following job description:

Oversee the analytics processes for one or more of the channels within Dealer Retail Services (DRS) by using analytical and statistical techniques to support credit policy, loss forecasting, pricing, origination scoring, fraud risk scoring, automated decisioning, default management, dealer management, sales segmentation, etc. Work with other members of the analytics team, as well as stakeholders around the bank to convey the results of analyses to bring consensus to proposals that generate revenue and/or create efficiency for DRS. Provide analytical support to one or more of the Dealer Retail Services line of business channels to recommend and enable fact-based, data-driven risk management actions, and program implementation decisions.

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Develop models or collaborate with model developers/vendors to support custom origination scoring, fraud risk scoring and elasticity modeling used in pricing. Support model monitoring and governance requirements of predictive models and quantitative decision tools as required by the model risk group.

  2. Understand and quantify the risk return tradeoffs and build analyses related to the credit box to support pricing, credit policy, loss forecasting and other general changes in risk appetite.

  3. Create efficiency by building and maintaining automated production of interactive reporting dashboards for DRS senior leadership and business stakeholders for various areas of lending operations, including credit & servicing/collections.

  4. Work on a variety of other analyses to support multiple areas of the business including default management, dealer management and sales management, etc. including critical business activity reporting for use by channel SMEs to track detailed performance.

  5. Communicate analytics design and results to other risk teammates as well as other stakeholders within the bank to build consensus based decisions.

  6. Participate in DRS risk and strategic analytical projects. This role will play an active role to lead the design and execution of projects for single channel initiatives, and actively participate in broader projects that span across all of DRS.

  7. Organize and maintain key data, metrics, and benchmarks describing production, portfolio, and dealer performance and efficiency attributes. Recommend and/or support DRS transformation strategies and initiatives based on analysis of the data.

  8. Identify and evaluate new data sources and vendors to provide the best information for effective analysis and decision making.
