The primary responsibility of the organizational unit is providing cleaning, sanitizing, and pest control services to over 10 million square feet of campus space. This service is provided through the utilization of over 320 staff members.Utilizes standard housekeeping equipment, tools and supplies to accomplish basic floor care tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, shower-scrubbing, stripping, finish application, and carpet extraction.

Applies standard procedures, equipment and tools to strip and refinish hard surface floors, in addition to extracting carpeted areas within scheduled buildings. Performs team floor care tasks. Performs snow and ice removal within a team environment during inclement weather, in addition to coordinating with coworkers during group response to emergencies.Utilizes truck-mount to address building floods and responds to various emergencies within buildings.
