Robert Half Instructional Designer in Raleigh, North Carolina

Description

Robert Half is seeking a dynamic and creative Instructional Designer. The successful candidate will be tasked with designing, developing and implementing high-quality instructional material for our clients. This role requires innovative thinking, collaborative problem-solving and attention to detail to create engaging training modules.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify target audience's training needs.

  • Design and develop engaging instructional materials and courses that is reflective of our clients' needs and commercial objectives.

  • Utilize instructional design theories, practice and methods to create learning activities and compelling course content.

  • Develop assessment methodologies to measure learner performance.

  • Prepare materials for instructor-led, online/digital and blended learning environments.

  • Create supportive material/media (audio, video, simulations, animations, etc.).

  • Maintain project documentation and course folders to ensure courses adhere to technology and quality standards.

  • Review, test and provide final approval of all integrated systems.

  • Keep up-to-date with latest instructional technology and design trends.

    Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or similar field.

  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology.

  • Excellent knowledge of learning models, and the ability to convert them into instructional design.

  • Proficiency in e-learning platforms, authoring tools and Learning Management Systems

  • Visual design skills (Graphic design software skills, such as Photoshop, Illustrator etc. would be a plus).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
