National Power, LLC Renewable Energy Manager in Raleigh, North Carolina

Summary

Under the general direction of and reporting to the Director, Renewable Energy & Business Development of National Power, LLC (the “Company”), the Renewable Energy Manager will primarily be responsible for managing and expanding sales and projects for the Renewable Energy division with the goal of achieving sales revenue and gross margins that meet or exceed forecasts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for renewable energy projects, including but not limited to solar, EV charging and energy storage systems

  • Analyze customer requirements and project specifications to produce comprehensive proposals and quotations

  • Work with supervisor to drive sales efforts to acquire new customers and expand opportunities with existing accounts

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their questions and providing exceptional service throughout the bid and kick off processes

  • Lead project kick off meetings to align stakeholders, define project scopes, and establish timelines

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless project initiation and execution

  • Work with internal project management team to address any issues that may arise so they can ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget (this role will also be asked to assume the role of project manager on some projects)

  • Maintain education on industry trends, market developments and technological advancements in renewable energy

  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the Company’s product offerings and competitive positioning

  • Contribute to business development initiatives as necessary

  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, sales activities and project kick off schedules

  • Work as part of a team and communicate in such a way that will avoid problems and disputes, always putting the customer (internal and external) first

  • Take a proactive approach to resolving customer complaints and disputes

  • Present a professional image to the Company's customers and suppliers and always maintain the highest ethical standards of conduct

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience

  • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, market dynamics and regulatory requirements required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word

  • Requires advanced knowledge of the English language

    Work Conditions:

  • This is a remote position and will require the employee to work from home

  • Travel required

    Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time

  • Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, typing
