Honeywell RTE - Electricity Engineer in Raleigh, North Carolina

Key Responsibilities

  • Equivalent of a Scrum Master at the release level

  • Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Agile practices and mindset

  • Work with cross-functional agile teams located at multiple Honeywell locations around the globe

  • Work with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment

  • Facilitates Internal/Commercial Release Planning meetings

  • Provides R&D Progress and Risks/Mitigations at weekly PMO Meetings

  • Update Monthly Budget Reports for Project and Department spending

  • Create purchase requisitions for project teams

  • Assists PMO as R&D Prime to deliver any HIP/NPD artifacts related to Technology in all New Product Development Phases

  • Updates portfolio items in Rally to ensure accurate real-time status reporting

  • Assists in clearing cross-team blockers

  • Identifies dependencies outside of teams in the form of business-requirement epics

  • Drive relentless improvement; assess the agility level of the Agile Release Train and lead the implementation of improvements

  • Facilitate the System Demos and other Agile Release Train ceremonies

  • Develop & deliver training on a variety of Lean-Agile frameworks/scaling methods

  • Contribute to Agile communities (cohorts, circles, etc.) to support continuous learning & foster a Lean-Agile mindset at Honeywell

    U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

    Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

    YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

  • Experience as a Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer in a product development environment

  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Able to adapt and solve problems in an unstructured environment, with minimal supervision

    WE VALUE

  • One or more Agile certification such as Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP), Certified or Professional Scrum Trainer (CST, PST), Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC), SAFe Release Train Engineer(RTE) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)

  • Experience with an Agile Management tool

  • Jira / Rally experience a plus

  • Experience working in an embedded product development environment
