As a Senior Content Designer, you'll focus on content development and help craft user experiences that make banking at Truist simple and accessible. You’ll combine creativity and strategy to create content that breaks down complex financial topics and gives our clients information they need, when they need it. This is a hands-on design role to conceptualize and deliver human-centric solutions for our client experiences. You will be able to the understand the goal and deliver solutions on time that meet requirements and adherence to company standards.

With proven delivery skills, a strong knowledge of the craft and relevant tools, you will inspire others with your execution and defendable insights. Strong ability to articulate ideas with relevance to peers and embrace diverse perspectives. As a member of a larger team, you will support and contribute to our design culture by participating in events and initiatives that further Design within the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Create clear, engaging, and user-focused content to meet the needs of our clients.

  2. Design, edit, and test content for desktop and mobile applications.

  3. Continually raise the bar on producing conversational, engaging content with a brand and client focus.

  4. Lead design activities in cross-functional development teams to create industry leading

experiences for our clients, teammates and the business.

  1. Participate in design driven programs to define insights, create solutions and advocate for

client needs.

  1. Analyze, plan, and standardize content across digital experiences to meet business goals for aligned team(s). This includes executing content design, user research, content guidelines, and special projects.

  2. Design and deliver artifacts across a variety of environments.

  3. Strong knowledge of design standards, industry guidelines, and best practices with the ability to push beyond to uncover new and distinctive solutions.

  4. Contribute and adhere to the editorial strategy and style guide to ensure consistency and brand alignment across product families within Truist.

  5. Consult and collaborate with talented teams in a supportive, complex environment and develop an understanding of broader organizational context and goals.

  6. Practice quality assurance procedures at each deliverable stage to maintain content integrity and ensure content meets project specifications.

  7. Use storytelling and persuasion techniques that build trust with partners and establish long-term relationships.

  8. Stay current on trends, theories, methods and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in related field (or equivalent work experience)

  2. 2+ years of experience in the field (may include equivalent education)

  3. Excellent ability to communicate ideas and rationales to influence decision-making

  4. Strong understanding and application of industry and discipline standards

  5. Excellent time and issue management skills

  6. Experience creating artifacts and executing ideas

  7. Strong ability to give and accept critique, coaching, and feedback

  8. Proficiency in applicable software applications

  9. English language fluency

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years in content design, content strategy, or UX writing, focused on desktop and mobile applications/digital platforms. Financial experience is a plus.

  2. Excellent writing skills with demonstrated ability to write successfully for digital interfaces and applications.

  3. Experience interacting with creative teams, business owners and technical teams

  4. Working knowledge of engineering/development processes, particularly Agile

  5. Comfort level in working within a self-directed culture and navigating ambiguity

  6. A strong passion for improving people's lives through design.

  7. A portfolio demonstrating your experience with user-centered content design for desktop and mobile applications.
