The Opportunity

The Senior Director of Marketing Operations will lead Ally Credit Card to achieve execution excellence within the Marketing function. This role will lead a team and help the business achieve its growth goals in a way that minimizes negative impacts to customers and clients. This person will need to have strong leadership skills and be able to establish a vision for the department and drive a roadmap of initiatives to completion. This role should have strong data-driven skills and a passion for executional excellence.

Ally work locations are Wilmington DE or Charlotte NC - Hybrid schedule with 3 days in office and 2 from home

The Work Itself

  • Build strategy for future state of Marketing Operations given strong growth goals of organization
  • Lead across functions and within the team to deliver the strategy
  • Refine and maintain strong control environment for Marketing activity including process management, RCSA management, documentation and execution monitoring
  • Manage important vendor relationships and lead assessment and onboarding of new vendors along with Sourcing
  • Champion the delivery of a holistic marketing campaign process across acquisition and customer management efforts
  • Build out Project Management function for strategic Marketing initiatives
  • Oversight of collateral inventory and marketing budget
  • Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on project statuses and recommend strategic changes as needed
  • Uphold and promote company values and policies
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to network and stay abreast of the latest marketing trends and practices

The Skills You Bring

  • 10+ years experience in Marketing and Operations functions preferably in Financial Services
  • Experience leading teams, developing others and managing budgets
  • Operates with an ownership mindset and proactively works to problem solve
  • High degree of initiative with strong drive for results
  • Ability to work across multiple lines of business and effectively prioritize tasks
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing internal/external processes including those out-sourced with partners and/or vendors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Emerging: 170000
