Red Hat Senior Solution Architect in Raleigh, North Carolina

Assist with system design using Red Hat and partner products, help customers successfully implement Red Hat solutions, and advise and review configurations as systems are configured. Help customers create new and innovative systems using Red Hat systems and coach customers on use of Red Hat products. Work with customers and support staff to ensure issues are identified and resolved.

  • Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S.

What You Will Do:

  • Tie implementations to tangible business outcomes.

  • Align designs to management priorities for customers.

  • Assist customers with system design and implementation system implementation and troubleshooting.

  • Assist with creation of playbooks and runbooks and system documentation.

  • Help customers develop integration plans.

  • Assist with system design and documentation.

  • Work with customers to determine staffing needs and skills necessary for successful implementation of Red Hat and related products.

  • Stay up to date on Red Hat and industry standards and practices.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related role.

  • Must have three (3) years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift;

  • Must have three (3) years of experience with building and running container or private cloud infrastructure;

  • Must have three (3) years of experience with Linux operating systems in the areas of system administration, integration, or development;

  • Must have three (3) years of experience with presenting to technical audiences, articulating the value of the technical solution to the customer and documenting it accurately;

  • Must have three (3) years of experience with explaining technical solutions to a non-technical audience, including explaining technical solutions to executives that apply to business issues.

  • Domestic travel required 30% of the time to conferences and client sites. Travel expenses covered by Red Hat, Inc.

The salary range for this position is $101,950 - $199,830. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience
