Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is integral to our retail industry operations, as it involves maintaining accurate records, processing customer applications, and resolving inquiries. You will also monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications

• Manage and maintain customer credit records

• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate actions when necessary

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner

• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data

• Keep track of journal entries and manage the general ledger

• Perform month-end close activities

• Utilize QuickBooks for accounting operations

• Use Oracle or SAP for advanced accounting tasks

• Maintain proficiency in NetSuite for versatile accounting functions. Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role within the retail industry.

• Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks, is required.

• In-depth knowledge of accounting procedures, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Bank Reconciliations.

• Proficiency in making Journal Entries and handling the General Ledger.

• Experience with Month End Close processes.

• Skilled in utilizing QuickBooks Enterprise for various accounting tasks.

• Excellent numerical skills with attention to detail.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

• Knowledge of local, state, and federal financial regulations.

• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
