Description We are seeking an Office Assistant to be a part of our team in the construction/contractor industry located in Rancho Cucamonga, California, United States. The role involves administrative tasks and coordination within the office environment. This opportunity offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, providing an excellent platform to showcase and enhance your administrative skills.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage a multi-line phone system, ensuring smooth communication within the office.

• Assist with database management, guaranteeing accurate and up-to-date records.

• Collaborate with Human Resources to coordinate new hire paperwork and maintain personnel files.

• Undertake filing tasks to ensure all documents are stored and retrieved effectively.

• Show proficiency in using basic office equipment and demonstrate basic office skills.

• Handle e-Filing tasks, ensuring the digital database is well-organized and updated.

• Adapt to a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Learn quickly and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.

• Contribute to the overall office administration, fostering a productive and efficient work environment. Requirements • Minimum of two years experience in a similar role within the construction/contractor industry

• Proficiency in administrative tasks, including efficient management of correspondence and office procedures

• Familiarity with administrative office operations and office administration principles

• Proficient in the use of basic office equipment, such as printers, photocopiers and fax machines

• Demonstrable basic office skills, including typing, filing, and handling phone calls

• Proficiency in electronic filing systems and procedures

• Experience in filing, organizing, and maintaining office documents

• Experience using multi-line phone systems, including directing calls and taking messages

• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrable problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Must have legal rights to work in the country of employment.
