Job Summary

Responsible for following site-specific instructions in designated areas. Works with various construction chemicals in the manufacturing and shipping process. Operates various equipment in the manufacturing of products, able to perform routine maintenance, operate a forklift, and conduct quality control testing.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for combining raw materials, as specified by process order for the manufacturing of chemical admixtures.

  • Responsible for unloading raw materials from various forms of delivery per site work instruction.

  • Responsible for loading bulk trucks and various packaged types with finished product per site work instruction.

  • Operate forklift to perform various responsibilities.

  • Perform prescribed tests and inspections on raw materials and finished product to ensure adherence to quality standards/specifications.

  • Clean and maintain equipment in designated area of responsibility.

  • Wear prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure that prescribed safeguards are properly used.

  • Fully understands and completes all mandatory environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) regulations training.

  • Follows environmental, health, and safety regulations (EH&S) and acts in compliance with company policies.

  • Reports and takes immediate action for unsafe acts or conditions to protect self and others in accordance with AIMS program.

  • Performs other duties as assigned and required by the company.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent is desired.

  • One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

  • Forklift experience is preferred.

  • Basic construction chemical knowledge and handling is desired.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Ability to do basic math.

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions.

  • Motivated team player that can also work independently.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic computer application skills.

  • Ability to adapt to quickly changing schedules.

Travel

Business travel as needed.

Work Environment

This job operates on the plant floor. Based on the job description, the role will either use standard office equipment or equipment as specified on the plant floor to produce the products for the company. All employees will be expected to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Please see supervisor on specific work hours required to support business operations. For some roles, standard operations hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00am-3:00pm.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach with hands and arms during shifts; handle, or feel objects, manufacturing physical tools or controls; climb up and down stairs; balance; effective verbal communication; the ability to respond quickly to sounds and instructions.

The pay range for this position is $45,000 - $50,000 Annually
