Job Disclosure
This position is for a second shift work hours being from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. , with an initial training period of 3 to 4 weeks from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The official second shift is set to begin on January 2, 2025, from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.
Job Summary
Orders supplies, materials, tools and equipment, maintains inventory. Issues work orders and keeps flow of work processing through the gasket and materials departments. Provides guidance and direction to the team. Maintains quality and production levels as required. Reports quality and/or production problems to Branch Manager. Leads team meetings and provides support to Branch Manager including trouble shooting and problem solving. Operates UPS & Federal Express computer software for outgoing shipments. May perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines.
Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties and establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
Maintains time and production records.
Completes projects and assignments per specified deadlines.
Implements and completes jobs in the system.
Perform cycle counts daily.
Monitor Inventory daily.
Allocate bin locations for products.
Maintain a clean warehouse.
Distributes work for the gasket and materials departments employees.
Help put stock away when required. Operates forklift and tow motor to transfer materials.
Prepares documents for shipment.
Makes appropriate arrangements for shipments with freight companies.
Operates UPS/FEDX Computer software for outgoing shipments.
Must have clear understanding and practice all safety rules and regulations.
Must have clear understanding of Quality Policy and Quality System Programs.
May assist other departments.

Must be able to comprehend spec sheets, quality and work instructions.
Must be able to learn and control material types.
Must be able to use several types of instruments for testing of material and measuring for product; must do quality test as needed.
Must be able to use several types of instruments for testing of material and measuring for product; must do quality test as needed.
Requires the use of measuring instruments such as calipers, scales, micrometers, face mill arbor, go/no-go gauges.
Must be able to proficiently use the following equipment: Welding/Tig, Solder, Torch welding, Plasma Cutter, Circle shear, Automatic Band saw, Mill and lathe, Small Presses and Forklift.
Problem solving as it relates to application of product and demands of different customer.
Education
High School diploma or GED is required.
Some technical education or junior college desirable.
Work Experience
3-5 years’ experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull.
Continuous standing and/or walking.
Moderate physical effort- working continuously with lighter weights or frequently with average weights of ten to fifty pounds.
Good eye/hand/foot coordination.
Ability to work in cold, hot and/or dusty environment, with noisy conditions.
Must be able to become forklift certified.
Must be able to lift fifty pounds independently
Compensation
Pay Range:$27.00-$29.00/hr.
