The QCL Technology team in partnership with the J&J Technology Global Supply Chain organization has responsibility for the delivery of a technology product portfolio that supports a variety of key QCL products and provides outstanding customer experience across multiple channels within J&J Innovative Medicines and Advanced Therapies businesses.

Working within an engaging team environment, this role will be primarily responsible for delivering, supporting, and advancing QCL and digital capabilities related to AT strategic, operational, and project activities and closely partnering with Supply Chain/Quality functions.

As part of this QCL team, this role will share responsibility for E2E processes, will optimize Receipt-to-Release capabilities across value-chain, as well as find opportunities for digital solutions and predictive analytics to increase efficiency and productivity, reducing cycle time, and minimize risk while reducing COGS for AT. This role will report to the Product Group Leader for QCL AT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand user needs and translate them into detailed requirements for the Squad

  • Build use cases, write, and clarify user stories, visualization, and process flows

  • Explain how requirements may be implemented from a functional standpoint and improve user experience

  • Communicate vision to developers and testers

  • Help write UAT scripts and participate in User Acceptance Testing as needed

  • Collect confirmed business processes to serve as a reference for development and IT support

  • Apply business process improvement methods for optimization

  • In partnership with the Product Owner (PO), maintain a deep understanding of the business processes and requirements to ensure that the squad’s backlog priorities are aligned with business / Group needs

  • Build end-to-end digital data flows and related requirements that align with Enterprise data governance standards

  • Track metrics and build reports to measure progress

  • Help manage dependencies with other squads, working closely with squad TPO, peer PAs, and the Product Manager

  • Apply compliance requirements within the scope of responsibility, ensuring SDLC documentation, system configuration, and compliance activities are up to date as required

  • Understands portfolio of IT systems that the business uses; may specialize in specific applications and as such hold deep product / BPM expertise

  • Collaborate with Product / Platform roles to understand product strategy and squad projection needs.

Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required (preferably in computer science, industrial engineering, business organization).

  • At least 5 years of Product Analyst / Business Analyst work experience.

  • At least 2 years of Product Analyst / Business Analyst work experience in Supply Chain, Quality, or Labs.

  • Proven track record collaborating with business partners to translate needs into detailed use cases, process flows, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Productive experience with software testing, quality assurance (QA), and compliance requirements. such as FDA, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11/Annex 11. within the life sciences/healthcare industry.

  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle process (SDLC), and agile (i.e. Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) methodologies including supporting tools like Jira and Confluence.

  • Ability to think strategically and tactically to resolve problems, prioritize, and balance multiple tasks.

  • Ability to stay up-to-date on technology trends to identify and evaluate new technologies that can be applied to Pharmaceutical Supply Chain/Quality.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical partners and to lead and empower teams, set the vision, drive technology strategy and roadmap, and build positive relationships.

  • Ability to work with multi-functional teams to deliver software projects on-time and within budget across global time zones.

Preferred:

  • Understanding of Laboratory Systems (i.e. LIMS, SDMS, etc.) and/or Quality Management Systems (i.e. QMS, Complaints, Document Management, etc.)

  • Experience in Supply Chain/Quality or Advanced Therapies industries, including gene and cell therapies.

  • Document end-to-end data flows in compliance with Enterprise data governance standards

  • Identify and capture detailed user requirements for Machine Learning and artificial intelligence (ML/AI) solutions.

  • Experience with User Experience Design (UX) including leading user journey mapping, user flows, and usability testing.

  • DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).

  • Realtime Release IT infrastructure, including different types of systems, software, benefits, challenges, and regulatory requirements.

  • Role may require up to 20% travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $90,000- $144,900.
