Job Title: Sample Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Sample Technician to manage the receipt, documentation, and data entry of incoming samples. The role requires adherence to DEP regulations and involves preparing samples or bottle orders for shipment as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming samples through various channels such as courier, delivery, or field services in accordance with DEP regulations.

  • Document incoming samples with thorough detail.

  • Accurately log and enter data of incoming samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

  • Prepare samples or bottle orders for shipment as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Sample preparation

  • Data entry

  • Documentation management

  • Inventory management

  • Associates degree in sciences

  • 1 year of experience in data entry for samples

  • Experience with LIMS

  • Laboratory experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Scientific discipline (associates degree) - MUST BE computer savvy

Work Environment

The work environment is a first shift schedule, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The company offers opportunities for learning and growth, particularly beneficial for those new to the field. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00
