Job Description The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $80,200 - $108,300 depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, and relevant education, training or a combination of these things and market demand. GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: As a Continuous Improvement Engineer at Red Wing Shoe Company, you will play a critical role in enhancing our operational efficiency, productivity, and quality by implementing and optimizing processes across various departments. You will leverage your expertise in process analysis, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making to drive continuous improvement initiatives that align with our strategic goals ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Process Analysis and Optimization: Conduct detailed analyses of existing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency. Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies and other process improvement techniques to standardize processes and improve quality. 2. Data-Driven Decision Making: Gather and analyze data to identify trends and root causes of process issues. Develop performance metrics and KPIs to measure process effectiveness and monitor improvements over time. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior management. 3. Project Management: Lead process improvement projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables. Provide regular updates on project progress and outcomes, and address any issues or obstacles that may arise. 4. Continuous Improvement Culture: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization by promoting best practices and knowledge sharing. Train and mentor team members on process improvement methodologies and tools. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven experience (3-5years) as a Process Improvement Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing, technology, or service industry. Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies; certification (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt) is a plus. Proficiency in data analysis and process mapping software (e.g., Minitab, Visio, JMP, etc.). Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple proj cts simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
