Microsoft Corporation Business Operations Program Manager in Redmond, Washington

As a Business Operations Program Manager , you will work with cross-functional stakeholders to design compliant, complex programs from initiation to delivery. This role will drive clarity in complex situations and simplify the complex with clear communications; utilize leadership direction and strategy to create and execute plans that shift the organizational initiatives to new ways with greater impact for the business; drive adoption across the organization and develop collateral to enable key stakeholders and others to align.

Responsibilities

  • Perform program landscape analysis and examine business trends for W+D Operations. You’ll also identify opportunities to develop and improve existing programs and define program strategy and create project plans.

  • Define and execute on a landing and communication plan, leading the rhythm of business during execution. You’ll also promote the program and gain buy-in from stakeholders, partners, and customers.

  • Communicate the program status and risk to stakeholders, and hold them accountable to following the schedule. You’ll also work with other teams to ensure program processes are executed efficiently.

  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses, collect and evaluate success metrics, and use other analytics to examine performance, derive value, and identify risk and opportunities. You’ll also influence and manage change in the organization.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement

  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with developing and interacting with financial systems.

Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,800 - $178,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $117,900 - $195,000 per year.
