Sixty-01 Condominiums Community Bartender in Redmond, Washington

Sixty01 Condominiums is a master planned community consisting of 770 residences and ample amenities in Redmond Washington. We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a bartender for the bar we have on-site, Gus' Landing. Gus' operates on Thursday, Friday, Saturdays from 6:00PM to 11:00PM, with flexibility needed for special events and sporting occasions such as football games. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and guests, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience at the bar.

Schedule: Will flex+ upon need.

To start:

  • Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 6pm - 11pm (flex on need), (Sunday/Gameday flex upon need i.e sporting games)

Essential Job Duties:

  • Greet and interact with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit to the bar.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and member preferences.
  • Manage transactions accurately, including processing payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining an organized cash register.
  • Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and maintain a neat and well-stocked bar area.
  • Ensure the bar area, including equipment, glassware, and utensils, is clean, sanitized, and presentable at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Handle member and guest concerns and complaints in a calm and professional manner, aiming to resolve issues to their satisfaction and escalating matter to management when necessary.
  • Adhere to all relevant alcohol service regulations, including checking identifications, monitoring intoxication levels, and ensuring responsible alcohol consumption.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience working in a bar or similar hospitality environment is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • A good understanding of various alcoholic beverages, including wines, spirits, beers, and cocktails, along with the ability to make recommendations based on member preferences.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure accurate cash handling, inventory management, and cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, collaborate with other staff members, and contribute to a positive and harmonious work environement.
  • Must possess a MAST 12 permit along with a Food Handler's Permit.
