Job Title: Hardware Lab Technician

Location: Onsite, Building 50 (Redmond, Washington)

Pay Range: $55 - $60/hour on W2

Our client, a leader in the technology industry, is seeking a Hardware Lab Technician to join their team. As a Hardware Lab Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Azure Cloud Hardware Team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s the Job?

  • Execute Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) measurements on test boards and engineering validation boards for the validation of interconnect performance.

  • Assemble systems or test fixtures as needed to prepare for measurements.

  • Add instrumentation to devices/boards under test to enable high precision measurements.

  • Perform soldering as necessary to prepare boards for measurement.

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.

What’s Needed?

  • 8-10 years of experience with VNA measurements.

  • 8-10 years of experience in hardware and data center environments.

  • Proficiency in hardware assembly and soldering.

  • Expertise in oscilloscope measurements.

  • Ability to review schematics and board layouts for measurement facilitation.
