Responsibilities

We are looking to hire a Principal Product Manager to join our group and help us lead the next generation of Azure OpenAI and AI Platform featured. As a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for designing and developing new features within the Azure OpenAI Service.

Qualifications

*Required Qualifications *

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience. 

  • 8+ years of experience in product development. Including delivering one or more AI, cloud services, enterprise grade solutions, and mobile apps   

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

*Preferred Qualifications *

  • 5+ years in a product management or technical program management role, leading programs that empower engineers who design and ship complex products which delight enterprise customers developers, ML professionals or similar. 

  • 3+ years in cloud platform operations or ML platform management skills, driving efficiency and improvements in the quality of cloud services. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Strong aptitude for analytical thinking, disciplined problem solving, and data analysis skills used to identify the root cause of issues. 

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
