  1. What customer needs and experiences powered by AI can best enhance Window’s value prop and drive brand love, purchase intent and engagement?

  2. What claims and proof points can we offer that are compelling to customers?

  3. How can we optimize the customer journey to discover and use our new AI experiences?

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager with experience using data or research to make strategic recommendations, who has worked in a complex, matrixed environment with influential internal and external partners. This Product Marketing Manager will leverage data to deeply understand the Windows customer’s current needs and preferences, prioritize new experiences for marketing focus and enable marketing, sales and PR partners to tell compelling customer-driven stories.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with product teams to prioritize, define and communicate the right product experience (e.g., new features, roadmaps) in alignment with defined direction.

  • Leverages market intelligence and customer data under guidance to identify opportunities and define strategies for customer usage, adoption, and retention of new experiences.

  • Understand competitor strengths, weaknesses, and Microsoft’s competitive positioning. Shares insights to interpret opportunities and risks.

  • Understand how to build value pillars and collect proof points. Assists in building consumer/partner facing demo plans, product scripts, and sales materials.

  • Collect, analyze and report on basic performance metrics and derive insights.

  • Develops partnerships (e.g., Marketing, Partner, SWE, Design, Services, Sales) to lead and deliver differentiated customer value and company growth. Drives initiatives and programs across teams to improve and meet organizational goals.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in business

  • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience working within market research or data insights.

  • 2+ years of experience working with product development teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business

  • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Executive presence, cross-group collaboration, and communication skills to influence senior leaders across a highly matrixed organization.

Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.
