The Azure Customer Experience (CXP) team is looking for a Senior Business Program Manager to lead internal and external community management programs. In this role, you will create and drive strategic initiatives, rhythms, processes, and reporting mechanisms that support the Azure Customer Experience (CXP) teams mission. Responsibilities

This Senior Business Program Manager opportunity will allow you to make a broad positive impact that will include exercising and developing your operational and business management skills, partner with, and be able to support the business efficiently at any level. You’ll be a vital, trusted member of the PRIMO Strategy & Operations team, an exemplar of cultural alignment and the highest professional standards. Bringing business acumen, decision-making and operational excellence is essential in this role. You will need to be self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, and efficient at communication in a fast-paced environment while driving with high quality results.

As a Senior Business Program Management on the Azure team, you will be responsible for:

  • Business Planning: Partner with the CXP exec office team, Product Management and Operations Services (PRIMO) Leadership Team (LT) to influence, manage and execute CXP’s business rhythm including Rythum of Business (ROB) and planning process. Drive thoughtful execution through coordination and engagement with teams inclusive of activities like semester planning, Monthly Business Review (MBR) management, and execution of org level objectivs and key results (OKR’s).

  • Business Rhythm: Lead and coordinate RoB for the PRIMO organization. Includes ownership of All Hands, weekly Staff meetings, LT rhythm, manager meetings, etc.

  • CXP, PRIMO & Azure collaboration: Work closely with CXP exec office, PRIMO Strategy & Operations as well as the other cross Azure Business Management community on everything from business RoB, Planning, and cross CXP, Product Management and Operations Services (PRIMO) & Azure initiatives.

  • Facilitate Data driven decision making: Ensure appropriate data and insights are surfaced at the right altitude and in a timely manner to enable leadership and stakeholders to make data driven decisions.

  • Special Projects: On an as needed basis, you will be asked to design and deliver high-impact, cross-team projects to meet the changing business environment. You will demonstrate successful project management and cross CXP, PRIMO and Azure ability to partner.

  • Trusted Advisor: Leverage knowledge of leader's goals and business approach to ensure business activities are aligned with leader objectives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in business & technology related program initiatives.

  • 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects in a fast-paced environment, using data to drive prioritization and measure progress.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement

o OR equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of experience as a key advisor for executive leadership and proven executive presence.

  • Proven track record of defining and implementing operational and strategic improvements towards driving team execution excellence, communication, and efficiencies.

  • Proven ability to lead through ambiguity while partnering across organizations.

  • Demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly in a new technical domain.

  • Proven collaboration and communication skills (verbal and written).

Business Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.
