Microsoft Corporation Senior Product Marketing Manager in Redmond, Washington

Come join the Microsoft product marketing team to be a part of the Productivity and Collaboration Copilot organization focused on Microsoft Viva and Copilot for Microsoft 365, our suite of products and services focused on the dynamic and fast-growing Employee Experience category and AI workforce transformation. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for the Viva business, you will play a pivotal role in driving our field readiness and customer engagement initiatives in support of our Viva and Copilot GTM efforts. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that empower our sales teams with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to effectively promote and sell Viva solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive field readiness programs that equip sales teams with in-depth product knowledge and selling techniques for Viva products.

  • Create engaging sales enablement materials, including presentations (target audience/personas, product offerings, competition, pricing & packaging, value prop/positioning), NDA roadmaps, FAQs, and case studies that articulate the value proposition of Viva + Copilot for Microsoft 365 solutions. Anticipates how to position communications to best resonate with different sales audiences.

  • Develop sales enablement plans for key marketing moments, disclosures and packaging changes in partnership with Viva and Copilot for Microsoft 365 product marketing and GTM (Go-to-Market) teams, Business Planning and Sales.

  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of field readiness and sales enablement activities, and adjust strategies as needed to improve results.

  • Drive a coordinated strategy and work back on Viva’s roadmap process in partnerships with Product Management and Product Marketing.

  • Support ad-hoc responsibilities for running business rhythms, including gathering and analyzing top customer, partner and field feedback to drive insights into GTM planning processes and executive presentations.

  • Develop and publish inspiring new customer stories in collaboration with Microsoft customer evidence processes and stakeholders.

  • Partner with the field GTM and Marketing teams on customer events, roadshows and campaigns in-a-box.

  • Be a credible spokesperson and evangelist for Viva including demonstrating product overview in one-to-many environments, including sales trainings, customer meetings and co-presents at larger industry events.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business

  • OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience in product marketing, sales enablement, or a similar role within the technology industry.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business

  • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Understanding of the Viva product suite and its applications in the modern workplace.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams across an organization to achieve common goals

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
