As a Senior Technical Program Manager in this role, you will get to work across Azure working with subject matter experts from various services to build world class infrastructure that is required by our cloud deployment orchestrators. You will gain technical depth working on Cloud infrastructure across various services that impact developers to end customers. Also, you will gain proficiency sharing the vision and strategy with our leadership and various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • You will partner with Software Engineering to design technical solutions across feature areas. You’ll also identify risks and propose data-based mitigations.

  • Create technical specs and user experiences flows to drive clarity cross engineering teams and stakeholders.

  • You’ll define success criteria and create relationships for implementing features for complex cross-functional projects. You’ll coordinate and ensure alignment across organizations.

  • Exhibit Strategic thinking, understanding of data to make decisions, but also able to perform when there is ambiguity.

  • You will deliver on roadmap for multiple feature groups, track project schedules, develop staging and implementation plan, and manage governance programs.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

  • 2+ years of technical background and solid foundation in software engineering principles.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with technical writing and excellent oral communication.

  • Experience with cloud deployment and change management technologies.

  • Hands on experience working with data to build inferences and visualizations to help with decision making.

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
