We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer II to join the team.

As a Site Reliability Engineer II in this role, you will champion some of the most critical engineering programs, platforms, and services, often using creative ways that are pioneering in the industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale distributed systems, with experience in software development. An ability to transform business and security challenges into technical solutions is desired, all while demonstrating a passion for securing software, environments, and enterprise assets.

Responsibilities

•Networking: - Apply expert level knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, VPNs, Proxy etc.) Design and implement networking solutions that enable reliability and scalability across public and private cloud platforms.

•Cloud Virtualization: - hands on experience with technologies to ensure seamless cloud infrastructure operations.

•Incident Management: - Ability to lead incident responses for your service disruptions, perform root-cause analysis, and implement post-incident improvements. Own, triage, and resolve production issues with an emphasis on broad communication, learning & sharing throughout the process.

•Reliability Engineering: Drive reliability and performance across the services by proactively monitoring, alerting, and automating processes. Collaborate with engineering teams to build tools and processes that reinforce reliability.

•Telemetry - Read, write, configure, design, and script end-to-end service telemetry, smart alerting, and self-healing capabilities for platforms.

•Collaborate first and foremost; ability to exercise cross-team co-operation and influence.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

· 4+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration

o OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration

o OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

. 3+ years of expertise in networking implementation and troubleshooting.

. 3+ years of experience working on cloud platforms (Azure preferred)

. 3+ years of experience in desktop or application virtualization using Azure Virtual Desktop.

. 2+ experience of Active Directory and Entra ID Authentication

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

· 5+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration

o OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration

o OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration.

. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layer network and cloud issues.

, Working/understanding of Operating System Concepts and Identity Access Management.

. Enterprise scale experience in virtualization and certificate services.

Site Reliability Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
