Job Title: Software Engineer IVJob Description

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our inter-satellite link (ISL) team. The successful candidate will focus on the design, implementation, and deployment of software systems for manufacturing and testing our in-house hardware. You will be identifying top-level requirements, ensuring the pursuit of high quality and innovative designs, and supporting colleagues in reviewing and improving manufacturing and testing system designs. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders across software, hardware, systems, and manufacturing teams to establish our production capabilities and verification processes. You will also develop high-level testing automation scripts and management software for hardware manufacturing and Quality Assurance (QA) testing, participate in all stages of the development lifecycle, and make informed decisions on the selection of technology, data sources, algorithms, and test systems.

This is a fully on-site position in Redmond, Washington.

Work Environment

We offer a flexible start time with a dedicated lab space for work. The work schedule can start as early as 7am PST or as late as 7 or 8 pm PST, depending on the needs of the project. Expect approximately 8 hours/day and 40 hours/week.
