Microsoft Corporation Technical Program Manager II - Security Assurance in Redmond, Washington

EPSF (Edge + Platform Security Fundamentals) team is looking for a Technical Program Manager II to help drive a customer-obsessed engineering teams.

  • EPSF team is responsible for ensuring development of secure products and services across Microsoft businesses.

  • EPSF team builds scalable products and solutions that enable partner teams to deliver secure products and services to Microsoft customers.

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will help product teams secure platforms and services built at Microsoft.

  • Drive cross-division alignment among product teams to improve security posture of platform and services.

  • Effectively communicate the security strategy with partners in Microsoft.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and create clarity for boarder organization.

Familiarity with security technologies like static and dynamic analysis.

Qualifications

Requi red/Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or related field

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years experience in product/technical program management or software development.

  • 1+ years practical experience of implementing data security, information security and cloud security controls.

  • 1+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Other Requirments:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

  • This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection

  • ORMaster's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or related field

  • equivalent experience.

  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification, Security+ Certification, or relevant certification.

  • 4 years experience with negotiations

  • 4 years of experience developing product roadmaps to deliver customer and business value across products and services

  • 4 years experience in successfully designing, delivering, and iterating on complex projects with a diverse set of stakeholders

Security Assurance IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
