About the Position: Lead Inventory Management Specialist (Order Fulfillment) located in the AMCOM Logistics Center, Supply Chain Management Directorate. Multiple vacancies maybe filled using this announcement. Responsibilities Develop team to provide recommendations for addressing unit support requests. Evaluate and develop opportunities to improve order fulfillment processes. Lead team to engage with supported units on order fulfillment and supply chain matters, ensuring responsive communication. Serve as the central point of contact and subject matter expert for order fulfillment issues, and the exchange of information between personnel on the assigned team, with other command personnel, and with other organizations. Support the development and implementation of outcome-based demand and supply planning support strategies that optimize supply chain management principles to enhance system readiness and life cycle cost affordability. Ensure the team monitors error trends to find recurring error causes and advises team in resolving underlying problems. Assist in identifying, developing, and implementing best practices throughout the order fulfillment cycle. Articulate and communicate to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion. Monitor and report on the status of work in progress review completed work to see that the supervisor's instructions on work priorities, methods, deadlines, and quality have been met. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Coordinating with stakeholders to determine order release priority; 2) Developing reports and/or statistics for a variety of audience for operational readiness rates and impacts to supply chain; 3) Providing guidance and oversight to release strategies for the workforce; AND 4.) Providing recommendations on the priorities of units using a wide array of factors. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Leadership Oral Communication Organizational Awareness Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
