In this role, you will investigate complex production issues, improve our system resilience and monitoring coverage, support our customer-facing teams with complex technical investigations and implementations and automate methods and procedures to reduce workload and improve stability. Key Responsibilities * Perform advanced troubleshooting of complex network problems and recurring platform issues * Lead investigation and collaborate with other group experts to investigate complex cross-function production issues * Design, build, and maintain core infrastructure that enables growth * Maintain 100% Monitoring coverage, including building monitoring strategy that alerts on symptoms rather than on outages * Reduce workload and improve uptime and SLA response time by implementing automation processes for production issues * Act as the RandD extension in North America supporting production critical issues during North American business hours * Support Account Managers and Customer Success team with complex implementations/strategic implementations Qualifications Required: * Strong Experience with networking technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, LAN, NAT, BGP, VPN, DNS, iSCSI) * Exceptional troubleshooting skills. * Demonstrated autonomy, motivation, and self-management skills in the workplace * Working experience with Linux system administration. * Working experience with Bash, Python * Working Experience with coding complex automation and runbooks Preferred: * Experience with observability and monitoring systems (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) * Experience in large-scale network and system engineering environments (ISP, Cloud Providers) * Experience with AWS * Experience with Configuration Management and IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform) * Current or previous CCNP / CCNA / JNCIP Certification Bonus!: * Good familiarity with virtualization environments (Proxmox, OpenStack) * Proficiency with virtualized and containerized environments (ECS / Kubernetes) * Experience with Hashicorp tools (Consul, Vault, Nomad) - An advantage. * AWS Certification (Solutions Architect , DevOps , etc) Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. We'll consider your location, experience, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The wage disclosure has not been adjusted for applicable geographic differentials associated with the location at which this position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current base wage range for this role is $117,000-$153,000. In addition to the base compensation, certain roles are eligible for additional compensation, including an annual bonus or sales incentive based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
