Actalent Operations Manager in Redwood City, California

Job Title: Operations ManagerJob Description

As an operations manager in Translational Research (Biology), you will report to the Director of Cancer Pharmacology in Translational Research. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently registering high volumes of biological samples from translational studies (non-clinical samples) into inventory management systems. You will be accountable for sample location identification, sample check-in and check-out processes, and maintenance of up-to-date inventories. Additionally, you will act as a central communication hub to coordinate and proactively identify and implement strategies to increase the effectiveness of biological sample management, including via improved sample accessibility and operational efficiency. You will also coordinate and support sample-related activities across CROs and identify CROs that can assist in sample management.

This is a fully on-site position in Redwood City, California.

Work Environment

The work environment will be in a laboratory and office environment. Onsite 5x/week; either 8AM-5PM or 9AM-6PM.
