Responsible for medium-sized sales territories.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Within the state of Alabama responsible for selling GE Healthcare's Patient Monitoring solutions and portfolio

  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy.

  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

  • Uses judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Ability to prioritize information for decision making. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking to strategically solve problems and challenge others to think differently. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.

  • Ability to problem solve and execute a strategic plan to break into competitive accounts while serving install base accounts and continuing to grow business and gain market share within the state of Alabama.

  • These sales jobs will mainly be individual contributors.A job at this level requires strong interpersonal skills. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Will lead projects with risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree & 5 years of sales experience; OR High School Diploma/GED & 8 years of sales experience; OR Bachelors Degree & a graduate of GE HealthCare CLP

Demonstrated experience presenting complex information both verbally and written to decision makers.

Must live in the territory and be willing to travel within the territory.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

Established project management skills.

Capital equipment experience preferred

Healthcare experience required

This role is Birmingham, Huntsville, Mobile, Montgomery and Tuscaloosa territory

Weekly travel of 50%, overnights of roughly 50%
