Overview:

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst in the Stafford, VA area to support a Marine Corps Oracle R12 based ERP that provides near real-time visibility of retail supply, wholesale supply, equipment maintenance, and repair transactions. As the Agile Business Analyst, you will work with a Government Product Owner to clearly define business requirements, translate business requirements into functional, user, and system requirements that delivers on the Product Owners vision and provides value to the user community. The Agile Business Analyst will translate the Government Product Owner’s requests along value streams that explain What is being requested and Why.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Be an active Team member on a high performing Agile Team implementing the CACI Agile Solution Factory execution model.

  • Be an active member of the Business Analyst Guild and participate in continuous learning activities while also serving as a mentor to junior Business Analyst.

  • Be responsible for managing the Agile Team’s Product Backlog and ensuring there is enough work is decomposed and meets the Definition of Ready for the Team to load releases and sprints.

  • Work with the Product Owner to clearly define testable Acceptance Criteria.

  • Managing the Team Product Backlog through decomposing and refining product owner requests into Features and Stories that focus on bringing value to the users. Your focus is on What is being requested not How to deliver.

  • Use the Agile Project Management Software to manage the Product Backlog for decomposing work into Features and Stories, mapping dependencies, ensuring all backlog items have required fields filled out.

  • Support the Team to ensure implementation meets the Acceptance Criteria Product Owner’s expectations prior to delivery via testing and Team demonstrations to you.

  • Support the Team to ensure that clear, concise documentation is produced that accurately covers the Acceptance Criteria of stories and change requests.

  • Facilitate requirement gathering sessions by working with the Product Owner/Stakeholders to define and document Product Owner requests that will be developed by the Team.

  • Bring decomposed Features and Stories to the Team for backlog refinement where the Team will estimate work and ask clarifying questions.

  • Serve as a proxy for the Product Owner and primary contact for Subject Matter Experts.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or technology related field) or equivalent experience

  • 1+ years of experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, analysis, and management activities across all phases of the agile software development cycle

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences

  • Strong skills with MS Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint

  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to integrate information from multiple sources

  • Ability to work independently and interact regularly with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authority

Additional Desired Experience:

  • Knowledge of one or more Agile methodologies (Scrum or SAFe preferred)

  • Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing

  • Knowledge or experience working with Supply Chain Management Systems/Platforms

  • Knowledge and experience with the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK)

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$57,500-$117,900
