What You’ll Get to Do:

Responsible for all program level financial analysis and reporting. Requirements may include program cost control and management using cost baselines, revenue and profit recognition and forecasting, customer reporting and invoicing support, monthly, quarterly, annual, and multi-year planning, monthly forecasting, program compliance with FAR and GAAP regulations, and program initial set up to include project codes with work breakdown structure and billing set up.

More About the Role:

  • Provide support to Project Managers / PMO team in the preparation and analysis of project financial data and other contract, project, or business-related tasks.

  • Comply with financial controls, procedures, system requirements, and forecasting techniques, as directed, to evaluate contract/program status and ensure compliance with government and customer requirements.

  • Support the development of annual plans, multi-year plans, and forecasts. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual updates.

  • Identify and quantify potential Risks and Opportunities to the forecast.

  • Monitor progress of program requirements and cost performance against plans and baselines to ensure cost obligations are met.

  • Conduct financial analysis (variance analysis, risk analysis, profit/loss analysis, etc.) and Ad-hoc analysis as needed.

  • Provide program cost control and management using cost baselines, EACS, revenue and profit recognition, and monthly forecasting.

  • Assist with invoicing support, direct and indirect rate analysis, unbilled analysis, program set up to include project codes with work breakdown structure.

  • Develop accurate and timely reports for the programs and customer as needed.

  • Preparation of monthly financial charts for program review.

  • Prepare monthly accruals as needed.

  • Track funding and ceiling amounts for respective tasks/CLINS/ACRNs. Supply contracts with 75% funding notification dates.

  • Work collaboratively with other functional support personnel (contracts, subcontracts, HR, etc.) to support the program manager with other complex contract, project, or business-related tasks.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 5+ years of related work experience to include 2+ years of program control OR financial management.

  • Intermediate MS Excel skills such as pivot tables, filters, SumIfs and Vlookups to work with large data sets to perform analysis and monthly manual spreadsheet report in support of monthly invoicing.

  • Government Contracting experience and knowledge of contract types and FAR.

  • Ability to work with multiple support functions (contracts, procurement, accounting, billing).

  • Good foundation of accounting principles to include cost collection, revenue recognition, Estimate at Complete (EAC) lifecycle, invoicing, and unbilled reconciliation.

  • Financial analysis experience.

  • Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint, SmartView, COGNOS.

  • Corporate accounting experience.

  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) experience.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$62,200-$130,600
