Scholastic Digital Asset Coordinator in Remote, Florida
Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Scholastic School Reading Events (SRE) is seeking a detail-oriented Digital Asset Coordinator to join our Marketing Creative Operations team. This fully remote position will report to the Digital Asset Manager, and will play an important role in supporting the larger creative team by organizing, cataloging and maintaining marketing digital assets for Scholastic Book Fairs, Book Clubs, and Storyvoice.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the organization, tagging and archiving of assets, as well as monitoring asset uploads and downloads within the Scholastic Enterprise Marketing DAM platform.
Ensure accurate metadata, naming conventions and asset usage rights, including performing regular audits and data clean-up to correct inconsistencies.
Work closely with the production design team to coordinate asset uploads and proper versioning of assets.
Assist the Digital Asset Manager on platform improvement initiatives and strategic projects related to digital assets.
Assist internal and external users with asset requests and ensure appropriate permissions and restrictions are followed.
Escalate issues to the Enterprise DAM Governance team for collaborative resolution
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience in digital asset management, library sciences, or creative operations
Familiarity with taxonomy and metadata standards, application and practical implementation
Knowledge of copyright, licensing, publishing and/or digital rights management
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Teams, Google Suite, and project management software
Experience with DAM or MAM platforms preferred, such as Bynder or OpenText
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelors or associates degree
Min of 1-3 years experience in a marketing, publishing, or operations environment
The pay rate for this position is $24.50 per hour.
