VetsEZ Lead Test Manager (Remote Opportunity) in Remote, Georgia
VetsEZ is seeking a Lead Test Manager to join a remote team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. The ideal candidate will lead the testing lifecycle for software solutions, ensuring high-quality deliverables by managing testing strategies, processes, and a team of testers.
Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end testing, including planning, execution, and reporting.
Develop and implement strategies for functional, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing.
Create and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts aligned with project goals.
Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance and feedback.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure on-time delivery.
Track and manage defects using tools like Jira, ensuring resolution before release.
Implement automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in rules engine development, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
Expertise in software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Proficiency with automated tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG), performance tools (e.g., JMeter), and test management tools (e.g., TestRail).
Familiarity with Agile/DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in SAFe/Agile Software Development.
Familiarity with VA environment is a plus.
Ability to obtain a government clearance.
Azure Certified Cloud Practitioner or any related certification.
Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder DevSecOps setting.
