VetsEZ Lead Test Manager (Remote Opportunity) in Remote, Georgia

VetsEZ is seeking a Lead Test Manager to join a remote team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. The ideal candidate will lead the testing lifecycle for software solutions, ensuring high-quality deliverables by managing testing strategies, processes, and a team of testers.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end testing, including planning, execution, and reporting.

  • Develop and implement strategies for functional, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing.

  • Create and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts aligned with project goals.

  • Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance and feedback.

  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure on-time delivery.

  • Track and manage defects using tools like Jira, ensuring resolution before release.

  • Implement automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in rules engine development, including 2+ years in a leadership role.

  • Expertise in software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

  • Proficiency with automated tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG), performance tools (e.g., JMeter), and test management tools (e.g., TestRail).

  • Familiarity with Agile/DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in SAFe/Agile Software Development.

  • Familiarity with VA environment is a plus.

  • Ability to obtain a government clearance.

  • Azure Certified Cloud Practitioner or any related certification.

  • Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder DevSecOps setting.
