Product Manager
Location: Remote in the United States
The Role:
BlueVoyant is looking for a Product Manager to join our Product team and help deliver innovative cybersecurity products and services. This role will act as the main liaison between Product and the Deployment Services team, a group of industry-leading technologists who create security architecture solutions that drive the efficacy of our core Detection and Response business. The Product Manager will be integral to BlueVoyant’s product development, using creativity, market insight, and technical expertise to develop solutions that protect our enterprise and government clients from cyber threats.
We seek a candidate with experience in developing platform-based software products and services in the cybersecurity field. You should have a technical background and be ready to lead projects involving cross-functional teams from Product, Security Architecture, Engineering, Client Success, , and IT. The ideal candidate will engage closely with development and engineering teams to create features that address complex cybersecurity challenges.
BlueVoyant’s product strategy focuses on using data and automation to build scalable platforms for our customers. In this role, you will enhance our Managed Security Services and deliver software solutions that offer direct security value to clients.
Responsibilities
Close collaboration with Product Management teams to understand business requirements driving new features and products
Close collaboration with Deployment Services team for design, testing, and iteration of new product features, identifying areas for improvement and new opportunities to delight customers
Design ideation and feasibility assessment for new product features and enhancements
Thinking creatively to translate feature requests into technical specifications for Engineering, Architecture and Infrastructure teams
Development of technical documentation including specifications, tickets, architecture diagrams, and stakeholder presentations
Continuous assessment of current and new technologies, processes, and ways of working to help BlueVoyant continuously adapt to customer needs and market conditions
Play an active role in developing our way of working, bringing leadership and experience in enhancing our Agile workflows
Ideal candidates will
Have demonstrable experience and a successful track record of developing products for the cybersecurity market
Enjoy working in highly collaborative environments, and thrive on rarely being the smartest person in the room
Have experience working with SIEM and XDR technologies
Have a strong understanding of software and platform development processes, including secure SDLC and developing on modern cloud application architectures
Possess some knowledge of Microsoft security technologies, including M365 Defender, Sentinel, and Defender for Cloud
Possess some knowledge of Splunk technologies, including Enterprise Security and SOAR/Phantom.
Have experience with Product Management tools including Atlassian suite (Confluence, Jira, Aha, Azure DevOps)
Be a strong communicator and motivated to learn something new every day
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a Product Management or similar role in the security field
Demonstrable experience working with Azure cloud service
Preferred Competencies
Microsoft related certifications, such as AZ-104, SC-100, SC-200, or AZ-500
Experience working with Agile frameworks including Scrum, XP, lean, Disciplined Agile, or others
Demonstrable experience will be given preference over certifications.
