The GE Vernova Corporate HR team is looking for a HR Reporting & Data Visualization Analyst who will be responsible for generating data and insights that support our people and organization strategy. This includes development of HR reports, data visualizations and other analyses that align with our business and function priorities. This person will work closely with the Enablement & Simplification leader to consolidate, enhance and automate our existing landscape of HR dashboards. Key expectations of the role include report design, report generation, data analysis, data visualization and consultation with internal customers about the interpretation and use of HR data.

Note - Location is global/flexible.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Design and build reports in Workday based on business/function needs.

  • Blend Workday and other HR data sources to address specific business/user reporting requests.

  • Contribute to broader efforts to streamline HR reporting architecture and report logic with the aim of improving self-service and report usability.

  • Provide users with requested data and/or aggregate data based on requirements.

  • Advise customers based data requirements and available reports.

  • Translate data analyses and insights into visualisations to facilitate insights on high-priority topics such as diversity, headcount, attrition, engagement and more.

  • Contribute to one-time analyses, special projects, initiatives for the HR function.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve data and data source issues.

  • Ensure high standards of data privacy, accuracy, and quality are maintained.

Required:

  • Sufficient years of professional experience in the data/analytics field (regardless of function).

  • Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.

  • Proven track record of delivering value added data insights, ideally within a multinational organization.

  • Knowledge level must be comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience). Ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities.

  • Collaborates effectively with others through influencing, coaching, and/or coordinating within and beyond own team.

  • Knowledge and experience on protecting sensitive data.

Desired:

  • Good eye for design and aesthetics as it relates to data and information sharing.

  • Strong track record in developing and conducting projects unilaterally in all stages – planning, kick off, work coordination, proposal, implementation, and adoption.

  • Experience in providing independent technical guidance and counsel to HR stakeholders at various level of experience and hierarchy in the organization. Ability to adapt advisory style and tailor final products to target audiences.

  • Demonstrated excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and follow process with great detail and accuracy.

  • Builds networks to enhance effectiveness and share knowledge.

  • Actively seeks out expertise and best practice, related to own area of contribution.

For roles contracted in US:

The base pay range for this position is $ 92,900.00 - 150,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. This posting is expected to close on 9/18/2024.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
