Overview

As an EBSCOlearning Regional Sales Manager, your primary responsibility is to generate sales of corporate learning products to new and existing B2B customers. You will accomplish this through a consultative sales process, building relationships with prospective customers, keeping up to date on market trends, and coordinating activities with internal colleagues.

This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories).

What You’ll Do

  • Regularly meet with existing and prospective customers in person and via video conferencing and at industry events, providing balanced sales coverage of accounts in the territory east of the Mississippi

  • Sell Corporate Learning products and services by establishing contacts and developing strong relationships with customers and prospects; recommend product and service solutions

  • Maintain relationships with customers by providing support, information, and guidance

  • Identify new sales opportunities, while retaining current business within existing territory

  • Achieve an expert level of product knowledge and serve as a visible spokesperson for EBSCOlearning, including with our exclusive partnerships with the American Management Association, Harvard Business Publishing, and other leading content providers

  • Work closely with EBSCO management to effectively help price, position, and promote Corporate Learning products

  • Achieve an established new sales quota each fiscal year for EBSCOlearning products and services

  • Complete required territorial reporting such as, but not limited to, sales call reports, competitor data, territorial strategy, sales pipeline, and expense reports on a weekly basis

About You

  • 7+ years of sales experience

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%

  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written, and public speaking experience

What sets you apart

  • Previous experience selling into the corporate learning market is preferred.

  • A deep understanding of the corporate learning market and what companies are looking for (e.g., microlearning such as videos, business book summaries, articles, learning paths, microcourses)

  • A solid track record of sales in the corporate learning market and a demonstrated ability to establish successful business relationships with customers.

  • Awareness of the corporate learning landscape, including major competitors, trends, and influencers

  • Skills that enable building solutions for complex customer needs

Our Offer to You

Target Annual Compensation Range: $109,200 - $156,000.

This Pay Target range includes a typical sales commission. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience.
