The Nature Conservancy Development & Communications Writer in Remote, Michigan

By joining the Michigan Development team, you will become part of a group that is a force to be reckoned with: a force for nature, a force for people, and a force for our planet. We work closely with conservation staff to understand their strategies and how development can support them. We also work with our functional units, including Communications, Government Relations, and Operations, to craft messages and assets that help move their work forward.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and 5 years related experience or equivalent combination.

  • Experience writing or editing one or more of the following: grant proposals, funding reports, strategy and concept notes, newsletter, magazine, annual reports, executive leadership communications, donor profiles, fundraising campaign brochures, or equivalent.

  • Familiarity with writing and editing one or more of the following: newsletters, magazines, website articles/stories, fact sheets, presentations, or equivalent.

  • Experience organizing and coordinating multiple projects.

  • Excellent proofreading skills.

SALARY INFORMATION

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $67,000 - $71,300 for annual base salary. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate's actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
