Job Description

Blue Cross NC diversified business group uses data analytics to support and drive decision making in the development and management of new products, programs, services, and vendor partnerships. As Principal Strategic Advisor, you will play a key part of driving healthcare innovation by providing meaningful and actionable insights through organizing, analyzing, and translating internal and external provider and payer data for care delivery partners, subsidiaries, the diversified business group, and the broader Blue Cross Blue Shield organization.

  • · Independently lead and execute multiple data analysis and pricing initiatives concurrently to include: performing complex analysis, translating into data driven insights, and ensuring accurate and meaningful deliverables with minimal input from executives, presenting final recommendations to both internal and external executive sponsors with limited oversight from leader.

  • · Conduct data analysis and provide insights to collaborate on a dynamic team on complex, highly visible, and highly impactful projects that drive value to Blue Cross NC, our Diversified Business Group assets, and our partners.

  • · Quickly solve ambiguous and intricate care delivery, product, program, and rating/pricing challenges through qualitative and quantitative data analyses.

  • · Lead business case evaluations and quantification of expected return-on-investment of initiatives in areas including pharmacy, care delivery, products, programs, and services.

  • · Rapidly acquire expertise on internal and external data resources to support concise and persuasive executive-level business cases for development and investments into products, programs, vendor identification, and care delivery.

  • · Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of data to support development of rating plans and pricing for programs, products, and services.

  • · Evaluate moderately complex trend analysis.

  • · Establish a strong professional presence, projecting both confidence and expertise, while engaging with internal and external leaders and senior leaders, influencing and prioritizing key data insights to drive growth, results, and understanding of opportunity cost.

What You’ll Give:

  • · BA or Adv. Degree where Req’d

  • · 8+ Years of Experience ; in lieu of degree, 10+ years exp.

Bonus Points :

  • Prior experience in care delivery, product development, and/or product management

  • Actuarial experience

Salary Range

$105,600.00 - $191,800.00
