Job Description
As part of the Digital Strategy organization, EDI Solutions focuses on Provider Self-Service capabilities, specifically regarding provider revenue cycle management and administration simplification. Our team facilitates the exchange of electronic information between BCBSNC and providers, employer groups, clearinghouses, and other BCBS Plans. We enable streamlined execution of product priorities by owning the product roadmap, defining objectives, and prioritizing features based on assigned value.
What You'll Do:
Define Product Direction:
Drive portfolio objectives and balance business/customer and delivery needs throughout the product lifecycle.
Enable product roadmap and strategic vision through a deep understanding of customer desires and business priorities.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate closely with Product Owners and other stakeholders to adhere to vision and strategy.
Utilize market/customer input to shape the product vision and roadmap and communicate these to all stakeholders.
Confirm, communicate, and monitor care & feeding needs, funding, and KPIs.
Strategic Vision and Roadmap:
Enable long-term product vision and strategy, roadmap, and value by partnering with leadership and stakeholders to make necessary prioritization and investment decisions.
Develop and maintain business and market knowledge for the assigned domain (e.g., SMC, Health, CGSO).
What You'll Bring (Hiring Requirements:)
Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree (where required).
3+ years of experience in a related field.
In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of experience in a related field.
Demonstrated proficiency with web portals, content management systems, or digital product management.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards, healthcare regulations, and data privacy practices.
Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering digital products.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated experience applying Agile principles and methodologies.
Nice to Have:
Relevant experience in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries is preferred.
Product Manager certification preferred.
Salary Range
At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs. Our base salary is part of a robust Total Rewards package that includes an Annual Incentive Bonus*, 401(k) with employer match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and competitive health benefits and wellness programs.
*Based on annual corporate goal achievement and individual performance.
$68,200.00 - $109,100.00
