VetsEZ Program Analyst (Remote Opportunity) in Remote, Texas

VetsEZ is seeking a dynamic Program Analyst to join our team supporting a critical project with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role is essential to the Data Migration and syndication efforts within the Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO). Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project management plans, including work breakdown structures, performance metrics, and schedules using project tracking tools.

  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, document minutes, and update project management plans accordingly.

  • Provide monthly status reports to the Project Manager (PM) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), detailing project progress, accomplishments, pending issues, and cost tracking.

  • Manage the workload of a diverse team of developers and technical administrators, ensuring project milestones and deliverables are met.

  • Respond to and triage customer inquiries related to services and solution requests.

  • Analyze business requirements and conduct requirements elicitation to determine effort, milestones, and planning.

  • Research and recommend technical approaches for business process improvements, supporting the customer's mission.

  • Develop “as-is” and “to-be” business process models for various information systems.

  • Collaborate with developers and system administrators to create custom solutions for complex business problems.

  • Lead internal testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and other testing phases, managing issues and defects from identification to resolution.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to develop and execute deployment plans.

  • Create technical user guides, system reference documents, and training materials, and provide end-user training and support.

  • Develop a transition plan to ensure a smooth handover of work and knowledge to federal employees or other contractors, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.

  • 5+ years of experience in project management and business analysis.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Jira, and other project management tools.

  • Experience with lifecycle and project management methodologies, including SAFe, Agile, and Scrum.

  • Familiarity with government contracting and software development is preferred.

  • Experience interfacing with senior-level stakeholders, demonstrating strong leadership and customer service skills.

  • Experience within the VA or other federal organizations is highly desirable.

  • Experience with Data Migration and Syndication within the VA is a plus.

  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
