Position Title: HRIS Manager, Workday

Pay Range: $113,000 - $130,000 Department: Information Technology Reports to: VP of Enterprise IT and Security Officer Location: Remote

Schedule: M-F, 9-5 EST

Position Overview:

Vibrant is seeking a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Manager to lead a team of HRIS IT Business Analysts and manage Vibrant’s HR Operations as it pertains to the implementation and maintenance of Vibrant’s HCM system, Workday, while ensuring data integrity and system optimization to support various functions across the organization, including payroll, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, reporting, and business operations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of HRIS Business Analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management to drive individual and team success.

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Workday, managing the full-cycle administration, implementation, and maintenance of various functionalities within the Workday platform including: Payroll, Benefits Administration, Onboarding, Recruitment, Compliance, Reporting, and Dashboarding.

  • Regularly perform data audits and validation, and follow up with appropriate teams for corrections in all HR systems. Identify, recommend, and track opportunities for process and operational improvements.

  • Analyze and recommend enhancements to business processes and other aspects of all HR systems configuration to streamline HR and payroll operations and optimize efficiency while ensuring data integrity.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to drive success and efficiency within the team and ensure process improvements across the wider organization.

  • Ensure process management, including documentation, performing and overseeing audits, and continuous improvements.

  • Support Workday users by troubleshooting problems, answering questions over multiple communication channels, and creating and/or modifying reports.

  • Manage Workday-related contracts, contracted resources, invoice activity, and budget.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of Workday features and functionality

  • Strong experience with payroll configuration and troubleshooting within Workday

  • Experience working with Workday Integrations

  • Experience with implementing large-scale technology projects

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Ability to build credibility and trust with employees, HR team members, and internal and external stakeholders

  • Flexibility to meet continuously changing priorities and challenges

  • Sound decision-making skills

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or IT or at least 7 years of equivalent professional experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing or leading a team

  • Minimum 7 years of overall HRIS management experience

  • Extensive experience with Workday

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite

Physical Requirements:

  • Will frequently communicate over video calls with internal and external stakeholders to drive various meetings and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver results.
