Leidos Program Manager in Remote, United States

Description

The Leidos Corporate Home Office (CHO) Independent Research and Development (IRAD) team is looking for project/program managers (PMs) with the skills to manage various research projects, both now and in 2025.

Here’s a brief overview of what it looks like to be a CHO IRAD PM:

  • Work directly with the IRAD Project Principal Investigator to initiate, plan, monitor & control, execute, and close research projects that are part of the overall CHO portfolio

  • Initiate FREDD funding requests for the annual budget allocation

  • Develop the requisite charge number structure and issue work authorization directives to the affected personnel

  • Participate in weekly planning and execution meetings and progress/demonstration events for the Office of Technology’s Technology Integration team

  • Perform period-specific financial reviews, including estimate-at-complete (EAC) updates, and other financial management functions

  • Support the PI to develop and manage the project’s Prism page, Confluence page, roadmaps and deliverables trackers, and other project-specific actions

  • Support the CHO IRAD Program Management Office and PM Community of Practice, which functions as a team to ensure uniform approaches and back-up support for each project

The 2024 suite of CHO IRAD projects includes the following primary areas of research and development: 1) Cyber Operations Automation, 2) Mission Ecosystems Acceleration, 3) Resilient Systems, 4) SoftwareNEXT, 5) Trusted Mission AI, and 6) Zero Trust Mission Cloud. The 2025 projects could look a little different, but many of these core elements will remain.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
