Position Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and supporting the development of software solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to ensure that business needs are understood and translated into actionable requirements. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen interest in business analysis and technology.

This position can be located remotely anywhere in the U.S.

This position can be filled remotely, however preference is for members to be located in one of our Onshore Delivery Centers. If within proximity of a CGI Office, a hybrid working model would be required.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.

  • Analyze and evaluate business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Assist in translating business requirements into functional specifications for development teams.

  • Support the creation of user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria for software development projects.

  • Participate in user acceptance testing to validate that software products meet business requirements.

  • Assist in documenting and communicating changes to business processes and systems.

  • Support the implementation and adoption of new software solutions within the organization.

  • Provide ongoing support and training to end users on software applications.

  • Assist in conducting research and analysis to support business decision-making.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in business analysis

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting senior-level business analysis activities.

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and proactively accomplish tasks/activities.

  • Comfortable with client-facing activities on a highly visible project.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Atlassian Suite.

  • Knowledge of business analysis methodologies is a plus.

  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $68,700.00 - $150,200.00.
