Information Technology Strategies Cyber Security Project Manager in Remote, Virginia

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a ​Cyber Security Project Manager to​ work for our company.

Summary:

  • Client Agency is ​DLA​.

  • Must have an ACTIVE U.S. Government SECRET Clearance. (Sponsorship will not be provided)

  • Will be the project manager for this contract, working with Government management personnel and customer agency representatives.

  • Will provide expert support, research and analysis of exceptionally complex problems, and processes, relating to them.

  • Will serve as a technical expert to the Cybersecurity Assessment Program providing technical direction, interpretation and alternatives to complex problems.

  • Will apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts and will contribute to the development of new principles, concepts, and methodologies.

  • Will work on complex technical problems and provides highly innovative and ingenious solutions.

  • Will recommend cybersecurity software tools and assists in the development of software tool requirements and selection criteria to include the development of product specific STIGs from applicable DISA SRGs.

  • Will perform a DoD cybersecurity process while either authorizing an information system or serving as a expert for an information system. undergoing authorization.

  • Will determine the applicable severity value for an identified vulnerability (e.g., noncompliant security control), and determines the possible ramifications on the system's current or future authorization.

  • Will brief senior management on the progress or results of an information system undergoing the authorization process.

  • Will work under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives.

  • Will determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.

  • Will develop advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product.

Requirements:

  • Must have an ACTIVE U.S. Government SECRET Clearance. (Sponsorship will not be provided)

  • Must have an ACTIVE Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

  • Must have one of the following certifications (CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO)

  • Must have10+ years of IT experience

  • Must have 5+ years IA experience

  • Must have 5+ years of relevant C&A experience; Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST C&A experience; DoD cybersecurity experience.

  • Must have 5+ years of relevant experience and 5 years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.

  • Must have a BS or BA degree or 4 additional years of related experience.

  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving security issues

  • Must have strong knowledge of NIST 800-82 Rev 3, and Purdue Model.

  • Must have previous experience in assessing/validating security controls and conducting authorization reviews for large, complex organizations.

  • Must be proficient in basic analytical software such as Microsoft Excel, Access, proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, to include Word, PowerPoint.

  • Must have a demonstrated track record of completing IT and OT cybersecurity engineering and risk assessment tasks relevant to the contract scope (including all OT Pillars) and a range of control system types (e.g., automated material handling systems, automated fuel handling systems, enterprise security systems, etc.)

  • Must have strong knowledge/application of relevant IT and OT standards/issuances and frameworks.

  • Must have previous experience briefing senior management on the progress or results of an information system undergoing the authorization process.

  • Must be an expert in cybersecurity and evaluations.

  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
