Actalent Civil Design Engineer in Reno, Nevada

Job Title: Civil Design EngineerJob Description

The Project Civil Engineer will help alleviate the workload of current Civil Engineers to maintain a healthy work-life balance. The role involves preparing and generating plans, specifications, and engineer’s estimates (PS&E). The engineer will review field reports prepared by staff specialists, provide guidance to office and field personnel, organize field work, and assign tasks to staff specialists. Additionally, the engineer will assemble, review, and evaluate complex data, integrate data evaluations prepared by staff specialists into projects, contact vendors, and work with internal and external clients. Researching regulatory requirements, design guidelines, and local, state, and federal standards will also be part of the job.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

  • Design

  • Grading

  • Professional civil engineering experience

  • Civil engineering experience with transportation and utility projects

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Reno, Nevada.

Work Environment

The office is located in downtown Reno, across from the Aces field on the 12th floor, offering a beautiful office with great views and a modern environment.
