Sodexo Healthcare is seeking an Inpatient Registered Dietitian that is well versed in acute careto join our clinical team at Renown Regional Medical Center, located in Reno, NV. Renown Health is 800 beds and the region’s only Level II Trauma Center, serving over 1 million people and 100,000 square miles. Renown offers desperately needed health and medical services in remote, rural communities.

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager t he successful candidate will:

• Be a Registered Dietitian and eligible for Nevada licensure;

• provide MNT nutritional care for a variety of inpatients;

• also provide coverage as needed for Pediatric and NICU(experience preferred, not required and willing to train in this area if needed;

• work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary interdisciplinary staff;

• perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays;

• educate healthcare team member, including physicians and nurses.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)(Note:For those seeking registration after 2023, a master’s degree will be required)

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

Credentials Requirement:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice

• Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
